Lou Doillon to set up shop in Paris

Lou Doillon revealed to WWD.com she’s scouting a location in Paris to open a concept store as early as next year. “We’ll have a mix of fashion, literature, modern and old, with more of an English than French influence, and not conventional,” she said at John Galliano’s show last week.

My personal favourite: Influence

I absolutely can wait for the bookrelease of the coffee-table book 'Influence' by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. It's just one of those books you just have to have. MK & A interviewed, together and separately, 22 influential actors, artists, and designers (including Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Karl Lagerfeld, Lauren Hutton, Margherita Missoni and Terry Richardson) over the course of their travels for their year-long pet project, Influence. The title will be released on October 28, 2008.

Bruno invades Milan Fashion Week s/s 09

Don't you just love Sacha Baron Cohen? He caused a stir in Italy by hijacking Milan’s prestigious fashion week. Dressed in a blonde wig and an apparently random collection of clothing, Baron Cohen leapt onto a catwalk and sashayed down the stage during a show by Spanish designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. I have to admit that that blond wig looks pretty good on him!
.
It was the second time the British comedian has caused chaos at the world famous event. On Thursday he and his team used fake passes to fool security guards into letting them into a backstage area of a show by the Italian label Iceberg. Dressed in the same wig and a head-to-toe velcro suit, Baron Cohen ran around, careering into clothes racks. The two stunts will presumably be incorporated into Baron Cohen’s new film, ‘Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male’, due out in May.
