Lou Doillon revealed to WWD.com she’s scouting a location in Paris to open a concept store as early as next year. “We’ll have a mix of fashion, literature, modern and old, with more of an English than French influence, and not conventional,” she said at John Galliano’s show last week.

Lou Doillon to set up shop in Paris
My personal favourite: Influence
I absolutely can wait for the bookrelease of the coffee-table book 'Influence' by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. It's just one of those books you just have to have. MK & A interviewed, together and separately, 22 influential actors, artists, and designers (including Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Karl Lagerfeld, Lauren Hutton, Margherita Missoni and Terry Richardson) over the course of their travels for their year-long pet project, Influence. The title will be released on October 28, 2008.

My personal favourite: Festival Chic
This is British TV-presenter and model Alexa Chung at a festival last year. I really like her stripy Breton top combined with the blue skinny jeans

Spotted at London Fashion Week s/s 2009
Emma Watson has emerged as quite the style queen at London Fashion Week. She donned an embroidered leather jacket and charcoal shift dress for the Vivienne Westwood show. And then those shoes... they're amazing!
Fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood, Princess Eugenie and dragqueen Miss Jodie Harsh posed together at the Fashion for Relief fashion show. What an odd looking trio! But I have to say that Princess Eugenie looks amazing in both pictures.
Mischa Barton attends the Samsung Imagination Icon Series, The Red Thread: The Inspiration and Passion of Valentino Garavani at the Hospital Club in London. Ofcourse Mischa wore a headband (which I think is really cool) and an awesome dress. But i'm not sure about the shoes, I think she should've put on some heels...

Sweet music: Sarah O'Connor
Charlotte O’Connor is a 17 year old acoustic singer and songwriter from Blackburn, Lancashire who is currently creating great interest in the music industry. At the age of five, wanting to impress her friends, she sang ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ at the family Christmas dinner, at the age of 15 she picked up a guitar and she hasn’t stopped since!
(Charlotte O'connor - Believe)
.
Influenced by artists like Damien Rice, Pink and Michelle Branch and with abundance of passion, determination and confidence the future looks bright for Charlotte. But this amazing girl doesn't want to be famous: "I was walking in Blackburn town centre recently and I heard a guy saying 'That's Charlotte O'Connor.' I didn't like it. It felt strange." Charlotte just wants to get people to relate to her music and to like it. "I don't really like thinking of the fame side of things."
As far as songwriting goes, Charlotte is inspired by anything and everything. "When I was younger I was a bit too young to be writing love songs. I still am really, so I based my songs on my sister's relationships," says Charlotte. "There's one song called Crazy About You based on her. I think she was a bit shocked when she found out!"

My personal favourite: The White Gown
Time for a whole new look
Young actress Taylor Momsen, or her personal stylist, decided it was time for a new look... I love messy bangs and the whole rock-chick look, but not on a 15 year old. Look at the pictures from last year, she looks so pretty and girly and now WOW! What's wrong with looking your own age? Again: I have nothing against Taylor Momsen or her personal stylist, I think she's a great actress, but in the picture on the lower right she seriously looks like someone who needs a ticket to rehab (no offense). A source close to the Taylor told JustJared.com that the new look was precipitated by her character's evolution. Well, that's awesome... but I still don't like it!

Rendez-vous with Harley Viera Newton
She's 20, lives in NYC, is a full-time Egyptology major at NYU, plays bass for Lissy Trullie and DJ for her main job. Oh and she just signed with Elite. Meet Harley Viera Newton, a busy girl with a great sense of style and beautiful long hair ("No, i'm not cutting my hair anytime soon"). Being called an It-girl, or, even moreso, an Internet It-girl, makes Harley laugh. "I feel like I've made fun of people called It-girls," she says..
hardworking girl. Intresting is that she says she "looked like a whore" at her high school prom. She wore a Balenciaga blue knee-length dress. "It was silk and buttoned down." And then to the after-thing she wore this vintage Alaia dress with six-inch Alexander McQueen heels. "I was like, 'I look good tonight,' and looking back, I'm like, 'You look like a whore!' I had my hair in a slick-back pony or something really embarrassing.".
She has usually one pair of shoes a season that she just wears everyday and every night. This season Harley chose ChloƩ Doc Martens wedges, the low ones. "They're pretty wild, but I love Doc Martens and any reappropriation of that I'm into." Harley is also crazy about her small Chanel purse. "I wear it every single day at all times." And on top of all this Harley collects band t-shirts. But only from bands she likes. Oh and if your intrested: some of Harley's famous friends are Mischa Barton, Cory Kennedy, Alice Dellal and Mark Hunter (the Cobrasnake).Sunday, June 29, 2008

Miley & Naomi: wanted!
Ah well, it's always fun to see people wearing the same clothes. On the left is Miley Cyrus, 15 year old actress and singer and on the right we have Naomi Campbell, 38 year old model. I don't know exactly when the picture of Miley is taken, but I think it was a few months ago. Naomi was spotted wearing the same t-shirt a few days ago.
